Terms and Conditions
If you have any questions about our products, if
you need assistance, or if you have a query regarding your order
please do not hesitate to contact us.
Delivery Times We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible and are usually
sent by carrier for next day delivery but should be with you within
4 days at the latest. If items are out of stock dispatch may be
slightly delayed, so please allow up to 28 days. For Christmas
orders we suggest you order as soon as possible to help ease the
Christmas rush!
Post and Packaging We only deliver to UK destinations. Post and packaging is automatically
calculated, based on order weight, at the checkout. Orders are
sent using a parcel service or Royal Mail First Class, dependant
on weight.
Returns Policy and Guarantee
Please inspect all items immediately upon arrival. Do not accept
packages that show signs of damage in transit, goods damaged in
transit are subject to a claim on the carrier please do not accept
them as you will be asked to sign for them in good condition. Please
inform us immediately if you have refused an item and we will arrange
a replacement.
Please inspect the model prior to use and report any problems
within 3 days of receipt. Due to the nature of Radio Controlled
Models once they have been used, or for Nitro Models had fuel put
in them, only the radio and motor/engine are covered by the warranty.
Broken con rods are not covered by the warranty.
Returned items must be complete and in their original packing.
For faulty goods we will (subject to availability) replace the
item and refund your return postage costs.
Before returning items please contact us to discus the problem
as we may be able to offer advice that makes a return unnecessary.
For returned items that are found not to be faulty. For example
a motor that you were unable to start but we can, We reserve the
right to charge a £15 testing fee which is payable before
the item is returned and in these cases the postage costs are not
refundable.
When returning goods please quote our reference number as shown
on the delivery note. Please also put a note in with your returned
item stating the problem, as it may not be obvious, and send your
notification of the return via e-mail to: returns@rc-hobbies.co.uk
We also suggest you use registered post and insure the item, as
we cannot be responsible for goods that fail to reach us.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund or exchange used or customer damaged
items (customer's statutory rights not affected). However a full
range of spares are available for all the models we sell and in
most cases we can restore your damaged model to full working order
by sending you replacement parts.
